Client Agreement & Waiver

By purchasing services from the services provider / Life Pivot Healing LLC, the Client acknowledges and agrees to all of terms listed below.

Please initial each section to signify acceptance of the terms.

_______ Services & Code of Ethics - Reiki & Crystal Energy

Reiki Energy Work:  Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy practice that promotes deep relaxation, energetic clearing, and emotional support. Whether you’re navigating grief, stress, fatigue, or simply feeling out of alignment, Reiki can help calm the nervous system and create space for inner relaxation and alignment.

Crystal Reiki Energy Work:  Ideal for those seeking a more immersive experience or working through deeper emotional or energetic challenges - this session combines the soothing power of Reiki with the targeted vibrational support of crystals to help balance energy and support spiritual integration. Crystals are intuitively selected to align with your energy needs—whether that’s grounding, clarity, grief support, or heart healing. Their natural frequencies work in harmony with Reiki to help you shift stuck energy and return to center.

PLEASE READ:  While many people find Reiki and crystal energy work to be powerful complements to other supportive approaches, they are not a substitute for medical or licensed mental health care.

Code of Ethics:  Our Code of Ethics is based on the International Center for Reiki Training’s Code of Ethics:

1.     Confidentiality:  No information about the client will be disclosed to any third party without the written consent of the client or the parent or guardian if the client is under 18.

2.     Transparency:  Include on my website and am willing to explain to prospective clients my training background, what takes place in a Reiki session, the amount of time spent in sessions, and the fees charged.

3.     Integrity:  Be honest in all your activities and communication.

4.     Support:  Have a friendly, positive regard toward clients.

5.     Respect:  Value your clients and treat them with respect. Never engage in any illegal or immoral activity with your clients. Never touch their genital or breast areas, never ask them to disrobe, and never make sexual comments, jokes or references. Abstain from the use of drugs or alcohol during all professional activities.

6.     Honor:  Honor all Reiki practitioners and teachers regardless of lineage or organizational affiliation.
 Refrain from making negative statements about others in general.

7.     Educate:  Inform my client about the value of Reiki sessions and that they do not provide a cure and are not a substitute for care by a licensed health care provider.

8.     Refer:  Acknowledge that Reiki works in conjunction with other forms of medical or psychological care. If a client has a medical or psychological condition, suggest, in addition to giving them Reiki sessions, they see a licensed health care provider.

9.     Non-Interference:  Never diagnose medical or psychological conditions or prescribe medications. Never suggest that a client change or end dosages of substances prescribed by other licensed health care providers or suggest the client change prescribed treatment or interfere with the treatment of a licensed health care provider.

10.  Honesty:  Never use another person's copyrighted material in your classes, website, or literature without permission and giving credit.

11.  Freedom:  Encourage my students to use their own inner guidance in determining who to take classes from including the possibility of studying with more than one teacher.

12.  Professional Conduct:  Always act in such a way so as to create and maintain a professional image for the practice of Reiki and for the ICRT Reiki Membership Association.

13.  Development:  Be involved in the continuing process of healing yourself on all levels so as to fully express the essence of Reiki in all you do. Be in agreement with and working to fully express the Usui Ideals and the ICRT Center Philosophy.

14.  Gratitude:  Be grateful for the gift of Reiki and for each client who comes to you.

_______ Logistics, Termination, & Refund Policy

Reiki & Crystal Energy Services Overview

Logistics:  All Reiki & Crystal sessions are held virtually over Zoom, and the session duration depends upon the service purchased.

Rescheduling or Cancelation of Sessions

• It is the Client's responsibility to notify the services provider at least 24 hours in advance of a scheduled session of the need to reschedule or cancel. The services provider will try in good faith to reschedule within that or the following week to maintain a consistent cadence.

• The services provider reserves the right to reschedule or cancel sessions with reasonable notice due to illness or other circumstances.

Termination & Refunds

• Termination of coaching engagement:  Either the Client or the services provider may terminate this engagement at any time with written notice via email.

• No refunds will be offered for sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice via email.

• No refunds will be offered for sessions that take place, even if they last a shorter period of time than the stated session duration.

• Prepaid Packages:  Any prepaid sessions that are both un-redeemed AND not yet scheduled after termination will be refunded.

_______ Confidentiality

The services provider may maintain session notes for the purposes of services continuity. All such notes are maintained digitally and destroyed at the end of services. The Client understands that notes are for the Reiki Master’s review only.

The Coach will not disclose the Client’s name as a reference without the Client’s consent.

The Client acknowledges that while the services provider takes reasonable steps to maintain privacy, no online or electronic platform is ever 100% secure. The Client also acknowledges their continuing obligation to raise any confidentiality questions or concerns with the services provider in a timely manner.

_______ Limited Liability

The Client agrees that in no event shall the services provider be liable to the Client for any indirect, consequential, or special damages. Notwithstanding any damages that the Client may incur, the services provider’s entire liability, and the Client’s exclusive remedy, shall be limited to the amount actually and literally paid by the Client to the services provider for services rendered through and including the termination date.

• The Client voluntarily participates in Reiki & Crystal Energy services and accepts full responsibility for their choices, actions, and results.

• The Client releases and discharges the services provider from any and all claims, liabilities, or damages, including but not limited to personal, emotional, psychological, or financial loss.

• Under no circumstances shall the services provider be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages that result from the services.

• The Client agrees to hold the services provider harmless in perpetuity, including from any legal claims arising out of the coaching engagement.

• The Client agrees that the services provider makes no guarantees, representations, or warranties of any kind or nature - express or implied - with respect to the Reiki & Crystal Energy services negotiated, agreed upon, and rendered. 

The Client is solely responsible for creating and implementing his/her own physical, mental and emotional well-being, decisions, choices, actions and results arising out of or resulting from the grief support / life coaching relationship and their support calls and interactions with the services provider. The Client agrees that the services provider is not and will not be liable or responsible for any actions or inaction, or for any direct or indirect result of any services provided by the services provider.

If the Client expresses intent to harm themselves or others, the services provider reserves the right to pause the relationship and refer the Client to emergency or crisis services. The services provider may contact authorities to ensure everyone’s safety.

If a dispute arises that cannot be resolved by mutual consent, the Client and Coach agree to mediate in good faith for up to 60 days after notice given. If the dispute is not so resolved, and in the event of legal action, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover attorney’s fees and court costs from the other party.

By purchasing these services, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to the ALL of the terms outlined in this waiver.
