Why I Do This Work
I understand what it's like when everything you thought you knew about yourself shifts beneath you—because I've been there.
As a certified grief educator, resilience coach, and energy healing practitioner, I work with clients navigating change in many forms: the ending of something familiar, the desire for something new, or the in-between space where clarity hasn’t yet arrived.
Whether you’re grieving, recalibrating, or intentionally choosing a new direction, I offer grounded, compassionate support — because I know how disorienting change can feel, even when it’s wanted.
The Season of Change That Shaped Me
For much of my life, I lived at full speed — working long hours in a high-tech career I loved, raising two wonderful sons with my husband of nearly 30 years, and building a full, connected life.
I had already experienced loss and understood grief on some level. But nothing prepared me for the series of profound transitions that unfolded over several years — changes that touched nearly every part of my life.
During that time, I navigated:
the sudden loss of my husband
the end of a 24-year career
a serious health diagnosis and treatment
the unexpected loss of my sister
supporting my mother through memory care and eventually grieving her passing
Each experience brought a different kind of grief — and a different invitation. Not just to endure, but to release, re-evaluate, and begin again..
The Turn Toward Healing
Amid the unraveling, there were moments of light.
Not long after my husband’s death, I worked with a life coach who helped me begin to find steadiness in the chaos. Through that support, I caught glimpses of myself beyond survival — and of a future that still held meaning.
From there, my path became one of intentional healing and conscious rebuilding.
I kept walking — grieving, reflecting, re-imagining — supported by friends, family, and a growing connection to my own inner wisdom. Along the way, I explored coaching, energy healing, spiritual growth, and practices that helped me restore clarity, strength, and trust in myself.
What I learned most deeply was this:
Resilience isn’t about returning to who we were — it’s about learning how to live in alignment with who we’re becoming.
What I Learned Through the Darkness
Through years of navigating compounded loss, I discovered what actually helps—and what doesn't.
What didn't help:
Being told to "stay positive" or "everything happens for a reason"
Pressure to move on before I was ready
Advice from people who hadn't walked this path
What did help:
Someone who could hold space without trying to fix me
Permission to grieve at my own pace
Practical tools for managing overwhelm and uncertainty
Energy work that helped me feel grounded when my mind couldn't quiet
A guide who had been through their own unraveling and rebuilding
This is what I now offer: the kind of support I desperately needed and eventually found.
A New Calling
Over time, healing gave way to vision.
I began studying the very practices that supported my own journey — resilience coaching, grief education, Reiki, and crystal healing — and integrating them in real time as I rebuilt my life. I clarified what truly matters to me. I released what no longer fit. And I discovered a deep calling to support others as they navigate their own life pivots.
How I Work With You Now
My approach is shaped by what I learned in the darkness:
I won't rush you. Grief and transition don't follow timelines. We move at your pace, not some arbitrary schedule of "stages."
I won't try to fix you. You're not broken. You're navigating change that's reshaped your entire world—and that requires support, not solutions.
I bring both training and lived experience. My certifications give me the tools. My own journey gives me the understanding that you can't get from a textbook.
I offer practical support. We'll work with tools from grief education, resilience coaching, and energy work—whatever serves you best right now.
Whether you come to me for coaching, energy work, or both, you'll find:
A calm, judgment-free space to explore what you're experiencing
Permission to feel all of it—the grief, the confusion, the unexpected relief, the guilt, the hope
Practical tools for managing overwhelm and finding steadiness
Support as you discover who you're becoming
A Note on Loss
Loss doesn’t only follow death. It can arise after the end of a relationship, a career, a role, a dream — or even a version of yourself that no longer fits. Sometimes grief accompanies change we didn’t choose. Other times, it shows up alongside change we’ve been quietly longing for.
All of it belongs. And it’s never too late to honor what’s been lost — or to begin imagining what comes next.
You Don't Have to Navigate This Alone
If you're in the middle of a life pivot—whether you chose it or it chose you—I'd be honored to walk alongside you.
I offer a free 20-minute introductory call where we can talk about what you're navigating and whether we're a good fit to work together. No pressure. No sales pitch. Just an honest conversation.
